I was attacked!

Just like Nancy Kerrigan, I was minding my own business walking around the bed (was making it) when my knee was viciously hit! I now have a huge bruise on it. Check it out.

What did this to you, you ask? Well, it was my grandmother's chest that I keep at the foot of the bed. I swear to you, that it just jumped out at me and attacked. Yeah, it looks nice and innocent, but we all know better than that..

Ouch!

Damn those chests, always on the look out for innocent toes, knees and shins!

That looks very painful!

It's not the chests that come after me, oh no!
For me, it's the inconspicuous looking doorframes and the worst of it is that they lie in wait til the middle of the night when it's really dark before throwing themselves in my path, bringing tears to my eyes and causing me to swear like a sailor whilst hopping around on one foot.

They really are nasty pieces of work!!

For me it's the bed frame. Never fails...at least once a week when rounding the corner of the bed.....OUCH! I'm thinking of wrapping the corners of the frame in socks seeing as how I can never remember to keep my toes out of the way.

So much for nice toenails.

G here.

You need to beware those trained attack chests. They have a knack of finding the ouchiest part of you to inflict pain on, then go back to sitting there quietly, all innocent-like, as if it was all your fault in the first place.

Still, they're better than the killer counter-tops. Or the undercover umbrellas.

OK, it's late and I need more chocolate.
