hmmm... am I public storage?

Okay.. well, stupidly I agreed to take an "antique" (it is an antique) cradle, under the assumption that it was the size of a bassinett. Well, when this thing came into the house I was stunned. It really isn't my cup of tea, and when I measured it, it is only 2 inches shorter (lengthwise) than Emma's crib.. It kind of reminds me of something out of Goldielocks and the 3 bears... "this one is just right".. but its really just horrible!!!
So, I call up the person (family member) who gave it to me and "sadly" tell her that we just can't fit it in our bedroom.. so instead of taking the family heirloom back, I was told to put it in my garage and not to sell it or trash it... so now I'm pretty much stuck with it for a while. My dad has been good enough to take it and store it. So, basically, I'm like public storage... then my dad will be public storage.. grr
Well, I don't know when my shower is, I'm thinking that it is sometime soon since its now February, but don't say anything about the cradle as the person who lovingly gave it to me will be there. That is, if you are going! :)
