Is it your smoke detector? Could be the thing signaling that it needs a new battery. This is when they say you should change them anyhow, when you change your clocks.

nope.. that sound is a hig pitched sound. This sounds like I'm dialing the phone.

Hmmm, dunno. My brain is fried right now. That and I just can't get "The Headlands" out of my head. I'm feeling sort of "Edgar Allen Poe-ish" about the place, if that makes any sense.
That and I wish Gidget would just settle down.....*lol* I should start tapping Bellyzilla and use that line from SNL....
"simmer down now, simmer down!"
Now I'm gonna get that stuck in my head.
And by the way.... where is my phone. I can't find it anywhere. Not my cell phone, my house phone.
